I read an article the other day that said gym visits have actually gone UP since the recession started. The authors believe this is happening because people are heading to the gym (or fitness club, or rec center) to relieve their stress through exercise. I think that’s great! But realize that you don’t need a gym, or even a lot of equipment, to get yourself in shape. Most people have the option to jog, bike, hike, jump rope, play basketball, do pushups or pullups… the list goes on and on the things you can do with no equipment whatsoever! Be creative and do the active things you love to do.
