I'm a bit of a gym rat - my usual workout involves 7 mile runs, squats, and other knee-heavy exercises...However, last weekend I slipped on the ice and tore my meniscus and now I can't even bend my knee slightly without extreme pain. What at-home exercises can I do to keep from getting totally out of shape during my recovery time?
Are you getting surgery for it? Because if you get surgery for it, you wont be able to do exercises for awhile. At this point it should be pretty difficult for you to both fully straighten and fully bend that leg. I know some exercises that can be done after surgery since I've gotten surgery for both acl and mcl before. Recovery will be tough
