I am disabled and can not ususally do traditional exercises. I have gone to physical therapy and it has run it course of usefulness. Now, my doctors only recommend warm water exercising. I do have a wonderful source for warm water exercising, my local county gym facility. There I do a warm water stretch class 3 times a week that has helped slightly.
My immediate dilema is that the facility is closing down for 8-12 weeks to put in a new ventilation system and new water filtration/cleaning system. I don't want to go that long without some sort of exercising.
I am morbidly obese and have difficulty walking (I must use a cane), very bad balance and a typical daily pain level of 8-9 out of 10. I need a way to exercise in my home to not only make me feel better, but to increase my motabolism and burn calories, perhaps something more areobic. Can anyone offer suggestions? Please help!
