P90X Doesn’t Work…does it? Come on, P90X is a slick and shiny TV infomercial with some amazing transformation stories, but it can’t possibly work for everyone right?
If you’re tired of the gym and paying for a gym membership or paying for a personal trainer and are looking for a challenging and you’re wondering about the P90X TV infomercial…Does P90X work, really?…well, you’ve come to the right place. The answer is: “Absolutely YES!”
But…as with any fitness workout plan, you have to WORK OUT! You have to completely commit to the workout program for the duration of the 90 day workout, set realistic goals based on your health, your fitness level and follow the nutrition plan that’s provided with the P90X workout plan.

Yes! P90X can indeed work to help people of all fitness levels achieve higher standards of fitness.
Remember, P90X IS an Extreme Program! Designed for people in decent physical shape. Of course, if you’re new to fitness, you will likely not be able to finish the workouts early on and you will need to modify some of the exercise programs to make them DO-able based on your fitness abilities. If you’re already in great shape, you’ll likely train with HARD to get maximize the results that the P90X workouts provide.
Regardless of your level of fitness, you’ll get better results from any program if you set realistic, achievable goals. One of the biggest pitfalls I’ve seen as a Coach in following an extreme fitness program like P90X is having unrealistic expectations, which may lead to over-training and quitting P90X becomes likely.
Yes, P90X does work to burn fat…IF you stick to the P90X nutrition plan, as well as the exercise plan, then you’ll see a noticeable reduction in your body fat percentage well before the 90 day program is over. Those people who throw themselves into the exercise program and ignore the diet will not see such incredible results.
The P90X program is designed around muscle confusion. Workouts that target all areas of fitness: strength, cardiovascular, flexibility. The variety provided in the keeps your body from hitting the weight loss plateau, which often happens after the first month of fitness training, when your body becomes accustomed to your workout plan and physical results become less noticeable.
