
I agree with Donna W. Focus on dropping your bodyfat by improving your diet, increasing your cardio, and doing strength training. After you do that, do bicycles and side planks for starters
I agree with the above, BUT you do not need to do long boring cardio. To lose the fat I would suggest a full body workout that use supersets with short rest periods to keep the intensity high. For cardio try high intensity interval training.
Of course the most important key to lose fat is your diet. Try to eat healthy, natural foods (lean meats, fruits, veggies and whole grains). I try to avoid all processed foods (ie. anything out of a can or box).

Sorry, I forgot to answer your oblique question: try side planks. Regular planks are great too!
