The ladies aren't the only gender feeling the pressure to look good as the seasons change and the weather heats up. The guys are also working hard to star in 'The Shirtless Summer'. This is the ability to get away with losing your shirt anywhere at any given time, even at grandma's birthday 85 th party, the local Kindergarten Show & Tell Day, and Sunday Mass. One of the most popular muscle groups with all guys are the biceps. Some guys that I work with will even say, 'Lance, let's do some curls for the girls'. I didn't think there was anything cheesier than Wisconsin, but apparently there now is. Shocker! Guys want to train their biceps. Well, if we are talking about curls for the girls, its equally important to know that our three different wrist positions that we can take during a bicep curl will put varying emphasis on the arm musculature. ![]() 3 wrist positions = 3 different curls Palm Up - Bicep Curl
Palm Neutral - Hammer curl
Palm Down - Reverse curl
Don't believe me? Take your hand off your mouse and put it on your opposite bicep. Now feel how it changes as you flex your arm with the different arm positions.... See? I told ya so! |
