Classes fight boredom with pole dancing, trapeze flying, 007 trai

Posted by Nancy B.

You know you're in an exercise rut if you find yourself staring down the clock on the treadmill or hypnotized by the speedometer while spinning. Elisa Jacobs, a staff writer for L.A.'s sampled alternative fitness options in Los Angeles and found people shaking up their fitness routine in surprisingly fun and diverse exercise activities. Among the options are a SpySchool class in which students learn karate kicking and rappelling, an Aerial Arts class where students work out on a trapeze, a S Factor class showing giving students workings learning sensual movements like pole dancing or strip tease, and a ballet boot camp class where students complete a fast-paced routine of traditional ballet moves, weight training and aerobic exercises.
