Breathe Deeply

It's almost embarrassing to post this, because it seems like such a no brainer. However, a friend of mine just saw a trainer and she told me the biggest thing she took away from it was to take deep breaths. She said that by taking deep breaths, your heart does not have to work so hard.

So, I tried it the last time I was working out - I had been working under the theory that too much CO2 in the blood causes cramping. But yes, taking large breaths made things much easier and my stamina was better...

Very interesting. thoughts?
