No, Montezuma' s Revenge didn' t wreak havoc on Tori & Lisa P...they were just out of breath!

Last night’s workout was a BLAST!

It was Cinco de Mayo, and I just had to come up with a “themed” workout to mark the occasion!

We kicked the workout off with an Indian run…the ladies groaned when Tori was the pacesetter b/c she hauls butt!  I kept tryin’ to slow her down! :)  Didn’t want them to get worn out yet!

A dynamic warm-up sequence followed.

After this?

Two BRUTAL relay circuits.

Because it was Cinco de Mayo, I aptly named them “Mexican Hat Dance” Circuits.  Pretty clever, I know… ;D

Circuit one included amazing exercises such as the “Peso Pick-Up” and “Montezuma’s Revenge”!

Circuit two included the fantabulous “Mexican Jumping Bean” and “Burrito Roll-Ups”!

Great times were had by all!

Here’s proof!

and last, but definitely not least…Lisa got tickled by me telling them to have “tight butts”…and it all went downhill from there!:

Here are the “results” from Circuit 1:

  1. Tammy = 4 rounds
  2. Tori/Suzanne (tie) = 3 rounds + all Peso Pick-Ups
  3. Lisa P = 3 rounds + 10 Pesos on one side
  4. Jessica = 3 rounds + 8 Pesos on one side
  5. Kristi = 3 rounds + a few Pesos! (not too shabby for having to miss a few workouts as a new mom!)

Here are the “results” from Circuit 2:

  1. Tammy = 4 1/2 rounds
  2. Lisa P./Tori (tie) = 3 1/2 rounds + 5 Burrito Roll-Ups
  3. Suzanne/Jessica (tie) = 3 rounds + 2 Burritos!
  4. Kristi = 3 1/2 rounds

Brought out the 1/2 inch Superbands for some core work, followd by some additional core stuff on the ground!

GREAT workout, ladies!  I hope y’all are all resting up for another one manana!
