I had a 'wild & crazy' evening tonight. So 'wild & crazy', that I probably shouldn't share this with any of you. So 'wild & crazy' in fact, that 'wild & crazy' might even be too tame of adjectives to use when describing what I got myself into.
What was so 'wild & crazy' about my night, you may ask?
Well, check this out.
I had 45 minute and 25 second long conversation with my Uncle about - the hard boiled egg.
Try to top that!
It was like nothing I've ever experienced in my lifetime. And let me tell ya, nothing I ever want to experience again.
What I did take away from that conversation was:
My uncle may have too much time on his hands
Learned that I could be literally bored to tears
What it takes to make the perfect hard boiled egg
My Uncle's Secret Steps to Boiling the Perfect Egg:
1. Add eggs to cold water in a pot
2. Bring the water to a boil
3. As soon as the water begins to boil, immediately turn off gas or stove
4. Let eggs sit in hot water for exactly 20 minutes
5. Cool and soak in cold water
Lance On Eggs-
Buy a carton of 12 or 18 eggs on Sunday and hard boil them all. This way you will have them ready to be eaten over the upcoming week. Think of them as a quick, portable, and easy way to boost your protein intake. Remember: 3 egg whites equals 11 grams of protein!
