Body Flex

You may or may not have heard of the Body Flex workout. It is led by Greer Childers. The tape, yes VHS, that I own is a twelve minute workout. It is based on a deep breathing technique in combination with holding certain poses. Her theory is that the body needs oxygen to burn fat and by doing the breathing while putting stress on certain parts of the body, fat will burn away on that body part. The entire workout lasts 12 minutes and when I did the facial exercises at the beginning I felt like an idiot. However, even though I wouldn't do it in front of anyone else it is invigorating and I feel like it improved my lung capacity.
