Be Smart About Cardio Workouts

Hikers, walkers, and runners shouldn't wear an i-Pod or other listening device outdoors. Theyre fine for establishing rhythm or pace indoors on a stationary bike or treadmill. But outside, on either the city streets or on wilderness trails, they make you vulnerable. All of your senses should be in tune with your environment, not your latest i-Pod playlist. Be smart. Be safe. Stay aware.
