Now I can't take credit for this recipe I'm gonna share with you...
Nope it is my friend Jayme's recipe...
She has written a blog for a while now, Tales of the CoopKeeper you can find it HERE
so hop on over and check out her blog...
read about her loss of 100 pounds... she did it with the help of great recipe's like this
CoopKeeper's Sausage with berries

Mix together:
1lb lean ground turkey breast
2 egg whites
1/4 cup of chopped onion (about one small onion) (I prefer to cook them just a bit first)
6 tablespoons (1/2 cup) of old fashioned oats
1 teaspoon of salt (less if you prefer)
1 teaspoon of black pepper (less if you prefer)
1 teaspoon of sage
1 teaspoon of ground red pepper (i like spicy if you don't lessen this to a dash)( you could also sub red pepper flakes)

Form this mixture into patties - I can get 5 patties out of this that are decent size.

Brown on both sides in a hot skillet and cook until cooked thru (this will vary depending how high you have your burner)

Pair this with a fruit of your choice...

the stats for this recipe making 5 patties is (this DOES NOT include the fruit)

6g Carbs, 23g Protein, 2g Fat
