This is the usual craziness around the holidays at my house. Perhaps you can relate. But I have one question: Will you be exercising this weekend? If you remember yesterday's tips , according to Rachel Beller, R.D., one of the ways to ensure a healthy Thanksgiving is to not "make eating the only item on your agenda. Plan a physical activity for before your meal or play a game afterwards so that the entire evening is not centered on eating." And that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm waking up early tomorrow morning to go for a run with my beloved fiance. (I know he's terrified, but I'm excited!) And then on Saturday, Team Karina Works It Out is going for another group run! How about you? What are you doing to stay active during this calorie-laden weekend? A fall bike ride if the weather permits sounds tempting. Does your family play football after the big meal, or do you usually go for a walk? It doesn't have to be something really intense. Please share! And if you are interested in joining us for the group run, click the "Email the Author" link at the bottom of this post. And have a happy Thanksgiving! xoxo, Karina Photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/xfp/ / CC BY-NC-ND 2.0
