One signal of overtraining is your resting pulse: if your pulse upon awakening is 10 or more beats more than normal, you may be overtraining. Other indicators are unusual fatigue and a lack of passion for your workouts. Try cutting back for a week and see if you feel better. It’s also a good idea to take two days off every week to recuperate, such as the weekend.
