Another Year Down

I’m baaaaack! Did you miss me?

Well, I certainly missed writing. I apologize for being away so long – two highly academic  semesters back to back stole my time and left me brain-fried.

So, for those who are interested, here is a bit of what I have been up to: I finished two academic semesters with a perfect 4.0, which included writing large papers on Operation Blue Star, Interpretive Anthropology, Canadian Prime Minister Robert Borden, Infanticide in Sixteenth and Seventeenth Century England, and of course, the rumours and imposter-attempts following the death of King Edward VI. I also won a scholarship to attend a seminar in Atlanta, which was my first trip to the southern United States! I had an amazing time while visiting Georgia, and I can’t wait to make my return visit sometime soon.

Finally, on July 2nd, I celebrated my 2 year fitness anniversary. In two years, I have gone from a 96 lb archetype of skinny fat with no muscle tone, to 106 lbs of lean, hard-won muscle, that is continuously improving. In the past year I have seen a dramatic increase in the muscle tone of my arms and my lower body, and a general reduction of softness in my abs. These past few months have led me to intensely focus on my weaknesses (glutes and shoulders), to produce some results I am definitely proud of.

So, whats coming in the future?
This next year for me is all about getting my body into ultimate condition. I am seriously considering a figure or bikini competition near the end of the year or in spring, so it is time to fine tune everything I can before I get coaching and pursue that more seriously. It is also the year that I am demanding to be noticed. I have been slowly and surely building up my following (all thanks to you, readers!) and I’m ready to shoot for the stars!

There will be a lot of new developments to look forward to, if you enjoy what I do here!

First, I am finally working on my official website, This website will contain my full gallery, video updates, recipes and training routines, and more! This blog will also be incorporated into, and I will attempt to maintain the URL to directly link this way.

Additionally, Embracefire Fitness will be getting a makeover and an update! I have not yet decided how its going to be set up exactly, but it will eventually match up the full design of the whole site. In the mean time, I have updated many features of this site, including the ‘about’ section, statistics , FAQ and more.  I am in the process of getting some of the half-done articles out as soon as possible.

You can also look forward to a whole bunch of new photoshoots! I have booked six or seven photo shoots in the next few weeks, with many new and exciting themes. I will be doing some yoga in the wildnerness, posing with a motorcycle, getting wet, heading to the beach, and working with a male model for a rockstar theme.
