Yesterday my husband and I went up to the mountains and get him checked in to run the Estes Marathon this morning. Not a lot of sleep happened last night, as we were both really nervous! The race started at 7am this morning, when it was nice and cool. I was so proud of him! There is no way I would have the determination or motivation to do something like that! He finished in a time of 4 hours and 11 minutes. Not what his goal was, but I told him he had to take into account the altitude. He said he really had a hard time breathing and he didn’t sweat at all! It all just evaporated! Crazy!
