I have written a bit in this blog about elbow pain - both in throwers and lifters - but will be devoting some very specific, detailed articles to it in the near future. In the meantime, however, here is an interesting population-specific fact. Many baseball players wind up with elbow issues secondary to shoulder range of motion deficits. Most lifters run into trouble because of excessive gripping and terrible tissue quality in the region. Apparently, though, certain NBA players run into elbow issues because of KARMA.
Huh? Well, apparently if you treat ballboys like crap, it comes back to haunt you sooner than later.
