6 Week Fitness Challenge: Day #5 - 42 Days to Success

When Mike Bundrant of the Healthy Times Newspaper called and asked if TRAINER TO YOU would be interested in becoming sponsors of the 6 Week Fitness Challenge my eyes immediately lit up. I realized that this would be just the thing to get our clientele fired up for the New Year and challenge them to dedicate themselves to 42 days of non-stop focus on their health and fitness.

I recently read an article from the blog of Steve Pavlina titled - 30 days to Success. In it he describes how dedicating 30 days of intense focus on just one goal can be extremely motivating for change. If you have the time(his articles are long) go and read it now. After reading it I think you will have a new perspective of the 42 days of the 6 Week Fitness Challenge. Our challenge is only 12 days longer than Steve's 30 days to Success.


After talking to Mike for about 20 minutes my mind began to race about all the things that we, TRAINER TO YOU, could do to help our clients and others who were interested. We would do it without any additional expense for our clients - other than the $9 entry fee at Healthy Times - and up the prize pool for our clients if they won by adding $1500 in prizes directly from us.

We would also create the tools that they needed to assist in the endeavor. Some of the tools and products that we have rolled out just for this challenge are;

  • Dedicated a portion of our website - 6 Week Challenge - with information and links to free websites that are geared towards achieving fitness and weight loss goals. You won't find another Personal Training web site in the Inland Valley that has done this.
  • Created our own private label Fitness/Wellness Journals (we believe this is the most powerful tool for change and goal setting)
  • Created courses and programs, at Home or in the Studio, - at discounted prices - that are specific to a 6 week goal.
  • Provide a FREE Fitness/Wellness Consult with beginning and ending measurements - including digital photos. (to be eligible for the Healthy Times Fitness Challenge you have to get your measurements certified by a local trainer and provide your own before and after photos)
  • Purchased the right to sell high quality weight loss supplements that are specific for fat loss. Tried and true products, scientifically proven, that work. No artificial ingredients, fillers or preservatives.(sorry no links for these yet - but were working on it)
  • And committed to 42 days of continuous blogging(42 days aren't up yet so we'll see if I can get it done).
All of this has been done at a great expense of time and money.

And why have we done this? It's very simple - we want our clients to succeed!
