Whatever your goal may be, these exercise are an absolute MUST in your workout program. There are even variations of these exercise that you can do so that you are not always doing the same thing.
1.Split Squat – The split squat can be done with dumbbells, barbells, just your bodyweight (for beginners), a medicine ball and even a Smith Machine at your gym. Variations are elevating your front or back leg.
2.Dumbbell Rows – Rows can be done with dumbbells, a barbell, and even exercise bands. Variations would be seated rows with machine or exercise bands.
3.Pushups – No equipment needed here, but lots of variations! Elevated pushups, kneeling pushups, close grip pushups, wall pushups….
4.Dumbbell Romanian Deadlift – Can use dumbbells or a barbell for these.
5. Dumbbell Swing - Dumbbells or medicine ball will work for this. Both this and the DB Romanian Deadlift are the best for working your butt and hamstrings.
Have you incorportated these exercises into your workout routine? Do you have some others that you might add to this list?
