Remember that to be eligible to be a finalist for the giveaway, you have to comment on last week’s post (where you announced your bedtime ritual) AND below on this post, telling us how it’s going. But before you do, check out this simply fascinating research from Tempur-Pedic’s Sleep Surveys!
3 Interesting Sleep Facts
1. We’re willing to make sacrifices in order to get a good night’s sleep. Nearly 50 percent of Americans are willing to go a month without Facebook , iPhones or iPads in order to get a good night’s sleep!
2. Most of us have fallen asleep in really odd-arse places. Fifty-nine percent of Americans admit to falling asleep in inappropriate places. Some of the more interesting situations and places where Americans said they have napped include bathroom stalls, graveyards, military combat, elevators and court.
3. Snoring isn’t the only thing that bugs us about our significant other. In the survey, Americans were asked about bedmate behaviors that made having a great night’s rest most difficult. Their responses (in order of popularity): snoring and constant tossing and turning (tie), sleeping with lighting or electronic equipment on, coming to bed or waking up early, and getting in and out of bed during the night.
