2/11: Quick Legs (Quads) & Abs Workout

My fingers are freezing as I type this. I cannot wait for the warm-up this weekend! I just finished the following legs and abs workout. I did two exercises for each muscle group (quads and abs) and it went very quickly. You could easily do this workout in less than 20 minutes.

Legs Workout (Quads only)

  • Barbell Squat: 3 sets x 10 reps, 55#
  • Lunges on my Step 360 : 3 sets x 10 reps

*I’ve always hated lunges but the Step 360 actually made them more fun.

Abs Workout

  • Decline Crunches: 3 sets x 30 reps
  • Traditional Crunches: 3 sets x 30 reps

*I did this quick ab workout circuit-style. I did the decline crunches and followed them up immediately with traditional crunches, then rested for about a minute.

Quads and abs were definitely burning throughout this workout – I’m glad it went so quickly!
