I was diagnosed with celiac disease in my 20s and my older daughter was diagnosed when she was 4. Eliminating gluten from my life was challenging at first but overall has been nothing but positive! It has taught me to be careful and creative in my food choices and it has helped me appreciate the value of preparing healthy and home cooked food for my family and friends every day. My goal is never to replace a favorite food with a "pretty good" gluten free alternative - my goal is to simply create delicious food that is also gluten free. Not every recipe I post is GF! I do cook occasionally cook more than one meal or dessert in my house - but overall I really try to have my entire family eating and loving GF food. I hope you do, too!
