I grew up in Wisconsin and moved to the SF Bay Area in 1998. I love to hike and rollerblade, but I work at a desk job (student services & administration) so I've found it a challenge to get enough exercise. I've recently started working out on my lunch hours and walking on days I don't go to the gym. I can't believe how much better I feel! I love it!
Naturally lazy, I have to either force myself to do some kind of strenuous physical activity or be strongly ;) encouraged by friends.
But being very curious I really enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, especially in the wonderful Californian nature.
I also like Yoga, in its Hatha, Iyengar and Kundalini forms.
I was a lifelong swimmer in the area, and in college and open water masters swimming....hope to get back into it again! Also enjoy yoga and anything mind-body, positive, social, and fun! Kayaking and Hiking are other goals.
