Watching my son read in front of dozens of people about his food allergies might just break your tear ducts.

In the nine or so months that I went without blogging, my 5-year-old son Noah has grown a lot. He is also becoming a fabulous little reader. Back in September, he gave a little speech to about 100 or so people on what it means to have food allergies . (Noah is allergic to eggs, dairy, peanuts and treenuts).
Here is the speech he made just before our Austin Families With Food Allergies walk last fall. And I have to admit – before he read the speech, I didn’t know if he could do it or not. I mean, I knew he could read. But he was always real shy about reading in front of strangers.
Until this day.
