The Athletes Shoulder Book is Now Available!

Posted Dec 23 2008 9:43pm

I am proud to announce that my new book, The Athlete's Shoulder, that I co-edited with Kevin Wilk and Dr. James Andrews is available!  It has been 3+ years in the making and countless hours of writing and editing but the finished product looks amazing!  I hope you find this book to be the most thorough resource for orthopedic and sports medicine injuries of the shoulder.  I just got my hands on my copies and will be writing a thorough review of the book as a post for next week.  In addition to the review I will share some insight and behind-the-scenes information on the development and editorial process.

In the meantime, don't forget to view my series of posts on SLAP tears including the post What Exactly is a SLAP Lesion?  The Top 5 Things You Need to Know About a SLAP Tear and Two New Clinical Examination Tests to Detect a Superior Labral Tear.  Later this week I will post on the pathomechanics of SLAP lesions. Also, don't forget to add your comments to the list of things I wish I knew before PT school!  Your responses have been hilarious, keep them coming!

I also have many new features of the website that I am slowly developing and will roll out in the upcoming weeks as my readership continues to grow (and my knowledge of HTML and web development increase!).

Thanks as always for reading,
MR
