One of the benefits of Philip being a teacher is that he get's Spring Break off. Here's some of the fun stuff we did a couple of weeks ago during Spring Break. We had family over for a BBQ and the kids enjoyed some cousin time in the back yard.
Still working on her trike riding skills (her legs are too short!) with the help of her Tio Norm, and her brother catching a ride.
The kids decided they wanted to have a lunch picnic in our front yard one day, so we went with it! And then we went to the park across the arroyo from our house.
We went to the zoo with the Johnstons, some great friends of ours.
That's not trash with the baby leopards - it's enrichment. Trust me, they love it!
All the chimps were sleeping next to their little river, which is a vast improvement of their usual activity there - eating feces and smearing it on the windows!
We have a membership to our zoo and come probably 10-11 times a year, and yet I have never ONCE seen our giant crocodiles before. How did I miss this?
We had a great time and can't wait until the summer when Philip will be home for several months!
