Shoes Shoes Shoes

I need help.......again. I am in the process of trying to find a new pair of running shoes. I am over thinking it, big time. One of the problems is that the shoe I like to run in is not being made anymore. You know how they come out with a new model every year, well they changed the style and it isn't wide enough anymore. I just would feel better about getting a new pair if I knew that someone else had success with them in a marathon. I'm just totally freaked out that I might get injured and won't be able to do SLC.
