It is that time of year again, all of us can start to plan our New Year resolutions, which will likely include some sort of fitness goal. If you are like me, life gets busy and things slip away. It is always easiest to sacrifice yourself (see #5 in what I learned in 2009) and many of us wont be able to stick to our goals.
Most of the people here work in a gym or clinic of some sort where they can like get a workout in without problems, yet it is still hard to find time.
Last year I posted on the top home workout programs and tools. I have this information because I have researched the topic for many of my not-so-fortunate patients/athletes that need to train in the offseason and don’t have the resources (i.e. minor leaguers).
At the time of writing last year P90X had 70 reviews on Amazon with an average of 4.5/5 stars. Over the last year this has risen to 364 reviews, still with an average of 4.5/5 stars, that is pretty good!
I recommended some resistance bands in last year’s post and at the time used a cheap brand of bands. They were good, don’t get me wrong. But then I started using the real Theraband exercise tubing with handles and new resistance loops and I realized that there was a difference. I have mentioned this here, but you forget how superior Theraband is to the competition. It is worth the extra pennies to go for the real Theraband.
