New Shoes and Pedometer...

Posted Aug 24 2008 3:16pm
I bought some new shoes. After trying on a few pairs and jumping around the store. I chose.. The Nike Air Max Moto +5.

Nike Air Max Moto 5 + Wide - Dick's Sporting Goods

And they are oh so cozy so far. I went for a walk tonight.. because I can not run until next week (doctors orders because of an enlarged spleen and tonsils)

I was also looking into buying a pedometer.. but no one had the one I wanted in store so while purchasing my new shoes... the store manager showed me the new NIKE + series for IPODS. I had never even heard of it.. but apparently its (basically) a pedometer that you physically put in your Nike + shoes, that connects to the Ipod and tells you how long, distance, calories, and pace all while listening to music. It's pretty cool. I walked 2 miles just to test out and I played with it almost the whole time. See...

Step 1.

Insert sensor into sole of shoe.

*Put sensor in left shoe.

Step 2.

Attach receiver to iPod nano.

*Attach receiver to IPod Nano. Set Workout.

Step 3.

Runner with Nike plus

*While you run it does all the work.

Okay so I feel like I am working for Nike in promoting this product.. sorry.. I just wanted to let everyone know it is really neat. And the shoes are really fabulous.. and so cushiony. Love them so far. I will let you know just how great it is after I can run again.
