Posted Nov 04 2009 10:03pm

I finished my running for the week, topping it off with 4.75 miles and joining the group for our usual outing afterward!  I opted to run solo for my favorite route (aka the “mall run” )….

No ipod, No pacer, No plan for time…..

mile 1 @ 8:23 Legs feel loose, avoiding the hill tonight thanks to Yesterday’s adventure! Whew
mile 2 @ 8:20 Alright fine, mini-hill! I want to see the Capitol..
mile 3 @ 8:00 Flat flat flat! No more tourists….I could get used to this…..
mile 4 @ 8:00 Hey Abe! Heading back and winding down.

miles 4-4.6 @ 7:48

Sprint @ 5:12  – It may be “official”; I need to chase someone to reach that sub-5! Dangit.

Now, I”m packing for NYC and leaving the running shoes at home! Not that I won’t be tempted to run in NYC (!!!!), but that’s not what this weekend is for. I can happily sacrifice another “easy 5″ for a morning-brunch-plus-PennState football game! Yah, no question there.

This weekend is to be spent with my College Roomies, celebrating the Bachelorette-ness of Emily! The four of us lived together for two years; we haven’t ALL been together since last November. This is LONG overdue…..

For a little history; Emily is the first person I met at Penn State and I HEART HER. She’s my best friend. Here’s a “then” (i.e. Freshman year) and “now” (i.e. two weeks ago…)

me&emthe first snow in January – still one of my favorites…..

Last order of business – GOOD LUCK Ivan, Elizabeth, and MJ!!!

Running in the Philly Half-Marathon this weekend – can’t wait to hear how you three rock it…….
