Arthritis after ACL, Janda’s Neck Flexion Test, and a FMS Review

Posted Nov 17 2011 6:00am

This week’s stuff you should read has articles from Sports Medicine Research, The Manual Therapist, and Craig Liebenson.  But first a couple of other bits of info:

My New Forum

Thank you everyone that has participated in the forum and embraced it.  I am still pretty excited about it and hope we all work together to make this a great venue to share ideas.   Check out the forum .

Muscle Imbalances Revealed 2.0 Re-released

Rick is re-released an updated version of the Muscle Imbalances Revealed Upper Body program this week.  It is 50% off this week and has updates to the content including presentations on mobility med ball workouts, upper body boot camps, and a nice manual therapy for the upper body presentation.  It is a pretty good deal at half off, check it out here or I have a Muscle Imbalances Revealed Upper Body review in a previous post.  These new presentations only add to the quality.

Predictors of Osteoarthritis after ACL Reconstruction

A nice journal article review from Sports Medicine Research on predictors of OA after ACL reconstruction.  Something to perhaps consider in the design of our accelerated programs for people with cartilage injuries and high BMI.

FMS Seminar Review

Erson Religioso just published a review of the FMS seminar that he attended, good timing considering the recent post in the forum  discussing the FMS and SFMA courses.

Janda’s DNF Test and Neck Packing

Craig Liebenson always delivers with great content and this article on Janda’s neck flexion testing is a good one!  I am ask working on reviews of Craig’s new core DVD series.
