Yesterday was my day off from the gym, but I did not feel like taking a break. I had tons of energy and just didnt want to waste it! So I decided to dedicate my day to abs:) I found a workout routine from bodybuilding.com (Ashley Conrad's Ab circuit) and thought I'd give it a try. Today I am soooo sore, laughing, coughing, or slightly moving my upper body is a torture! I loooveee it! This was the workout
You have to move from one exercise to the next one with no rest in between
1. Weighted jackknife- 1 set to failure
2. 90 degree crunch- 1 set to failure
3. Weighted bicycle-1 set to failure
4. 90 degree toe taps-1 set to failure
5. Elbow walk- 1 set to failure
6. Military crawls-1 set to failure
7. Ball crunch with weighted flyes- 1 set to failure
8. Isolated crunch- 1 set to failure
Rest for 1 minute and repeat until you complete 3-5 circuits
I did not have enough space at the gym so I had to skip exercises 5 and 6. Instead I did 1 minute plank +45 seconds (each side) side plank. After completing the workout I found out that it was designed for Bradley Cooper! Pretty cool hehe!
