I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer in 1997.  I had a total thyroidectomy along with some lymph nodes removed.  In 2000, I had a radical right neck dissection and had more lymph nodes removed.  After my TT, over a period of about 4 years I had 5 radioactive iodine treatments.
