Bio
Emme Levine is a writer and editor based in San Francisco. Over the past 20 years, she has at intervals worked as a computer programmer, taught and counseled college freshmen, and renovated two Victorian houses ? one of which was published in the book, "Painted Ladies Revisited." With equal left/right brainitude, she has published feature articles for Web sites like CNET, wrote tons of product reviews from toasters to software training, and recently founded a startup to promote mental fitness: Agogus.com. Her special interests include food, green architecture and interior design, mental and physical fitness, relaxation and stress reduction, kids and families ? to name a few. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, was vice president of Psi Chi, the national Psychology Honor Society, and was awarded a full Merit Scholarship. She also holds an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and an M.Ed. from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. She presently lives in San Francisco in a restored Victorian house with her two sons and architect husband, Andy Levine.
