That is a tough condition to deal with. Sometimes chiropractic can help...especially Biophysics technique. Checkout www.idealspine.com to find a doctor near you. You are disqualified from nonsurgical spinal decompression because of the Pars Defect.

Hello, Im 20years old and suffer with cronic lower back pain for a number of years, I recently had a Lumbar spine x-ray, and my results showed I had Spondylolisthesis of L5 - S1 with pars defects noted. the Doctor (who is not my GP) has assured me that it is not serious, but the pain is sometimes unbareable. What is your professional opinion? Thank you Lisa |
I have had a what sounds like a typical pinched nerve in the neck and feel pain in my upper shoulder and arm. It has been going on for about two weeks constantly. I had an appointment with an orthopedic but cancelled because I did not wnat to go thru MRI's and needles. I figured I needed more rest. Well needless to say it's not getting better on its own. What do you suggest?
