A 29 year old Female anorexia patient, having had a large alchohlic drink, takes a nap for 3 hours and the leaves in her car. A half hour later she has a blowout on a curve and slams sideways into some cement pillars deploying all airbags!
This leaves her with 3 fractured ribs and a 5 centimeter laceration on her liver, the nevada highway patroll make her blow a breathalizer (remember broken ribs) and it would not register at first, they finally got it to read 0.078! would a bleeding liver and broken ribs a half hour earlier have any effect on this reading?
