What I Learned The Week I Remembered

Posted May 14 2010 9:01am
  • Finding a balance between acceptance of a situation and motivation to change is really hard.
  • It’s impossible to make a dramatic exit through a revolving door.
  • Spending time with who make you happy is so much more important than spending time with people you feel that you have to impress.
  • There are no words to adequately describe cookie dough pancakes.

same recipe I used here but with Spirutein Cookie Dough protein powder (served with Quark and banana) <- make these!

  • I would probably eat the exact same meals every single day if I didn’t have blogging as motivation to branch out.
  • My cellphone doesn’t differentiate between missed calls and purposely ignored calls.
  • Larabars and Greek yogurt are made for each other.

  • I spend more time thinking about my life than living it.
  • Some days, I just don’t feel like writing. And that’s okay- everyone needs to unplug now and again.
  • If “plan A” doesn’t work, you have 25 other letters to try. There are always options…sometimes you just need to step back and flip upside-down to see them.

  1. What is your favourite sweet and savoury combination? I love turkey and cranberry. Though cheddar cheese and strawberry jam is good too.
  2. What is one thing you are thankful for this week? I am thankful for the time I spent with friends (Hi Chilly :D ) and the support I received on my last post.
