Weigh in Wednesday 5 and Maxing it up

Well, hello! This morning is rainy and yucky… I dislike storms.  I think the tornadoes have passed though.  Last night was a pretty loud.  I think it kept poor Braiden up all night because it was a VERY slow morning.  I thought he was going to fall asleep on the way to preschool.

I’m down 6lbs! Whoohoo! I stuck to healthy choices this weekend and didn’t over do it with the “junk”. I do still struggle with binge eating at times. I feel like I’m getting it under control, especially this week. Not to mention I’ve been sticking with my workout goals. I’m pretty proud of myself.

Moving forward.

I had my Cheerios this morning with some almond milk. I love cereal. Then, for a mid morning snack I’ve been eating almonds.  Have you ever had the Dark Chocolate Almonds  from Blue Diamond? Freakin yum! I mix them with lightly salted almonds for a balance. I don’t count out portions but I do put them in a separate bowl or I will eat the entire bag.

I haven’t posted a new recipe in a while… I think you guys need one today.  Hmm, what to make? I need to turn on the Food network for some inspiration.  I think Guy Fieri is my new favorite. I love his hair. I love fun hair.

 I was stuck inside today and REALLY motivated since I found out I’ve lost 6lbs.  I decided to DIG DEEPER! The way Insanity is set up is there are 4 Dvd’s you start out with. They are around 45 minutes long and will kick your butt. After the first couple weeks you switch to the “Dig Deeper MAX” Dvd’s. Those are an hour or more. I decided to be a rebel today and do Max Interval Circuit Training. Shawn T will kick your booty…into shape! And there was a girl named Ashley so I felt like he was really talking to me. ;-)

Man, oh man! Great workout! Day 7 of 60! I’m going to be sore tomorrow!  (I’m excited, I’m not yelling at you.)

P.S. I have an interview today for a new job!
