Weigh in Wednesday 4

I’m down two pounds from last week. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 4 weeks since I’ve started this and I’m only down 2 pounds.  Stick with me people. I’m confident that I’ll step on the scale one week and be down a bunch.  It just goes to show you how much a couple of days can throw you off course.  I’m finally getting my diet straight and I’ve found what works for me.

To clarify my diet, since my mother says I’m very confusing. You’d think she’d be used to it after almost 25 years.

My diet is now 95% A Plant Based, Whole Foods Diet. No dairy, no Meat, 95% of the time.  I also stay away from Gluten.

I have found this to be a really great balance in my life.  With that being said, I will go out and eat a little dairy or seafood, maybe a gluten filled slice of pizza. Don’t shoot me. It’s all about balance.  I’m not worrying about weight. I’m focusing on getting fit and healthy and the weight will take care of itself.


Moving on.  I was supposed to cut my grandmas hair yesterday but I was having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad morning.  I was trying to stay positive but ended up having a little melt down. I called her and switched it to today.  After I cut her hair she gave me a hug and said, “Remember when you are having a bad day, there is always someone upstairs to listen.” I don’t think my grandparents know how much they mean to me and how much they influence my life.  Family is HUGE to me and I love them all. I’m very thankful.
