Hello, hello bloggie friends! How's it kicking? Me, just alternating between The Biggest Loser and The Office while simultaneously trying to write this post. Apologies for my multi-tasking! Quick recap of some recent gobbles"
Meal: Spinach salad, sugar snap peas, carrots, tofu, and an Ezekiel cinnamon raisin and almond butter sandwich.
Cut up into bite-sized pieces and tossed all together makes one perfect meal.
Snack: 2% FAGE Greek yogurt, mucho drizzle of honey, and PB Puffins added to the top. Ohhhhhhh.....
Breakfast #2: Oats, pecans, coconut, pumpkin, sliced banana, 1/2 a chopped apple, FAGE Greek yogurt, and drizzled with maple syrup.
Repeat of yesterday's lunch and for a snack in the afternoon another slice of cinnamon raisin bread (can we say carb-overload today?) spread with almond butter and pumpkin. I just can't get enough.
Dinner: My favorite bow-tie shaped wheat pasta (they're just so cute!) tossed with Chinese veggies, chicken, 1/2 cup lentils, and pomegranate dressing. Cool cucumbers on the side. I can already feel the fiberliciousness catching up with me :)
And I just have to end with happy news for my friend Candice! Her boyfriend of too many + years finally proposed to her. It's about time b/c I was about to beat his ass so he could hurry up already. The proposal: First, he properly asked her Dad weeks ahead of time and she still had no idea. They had booked an appointment to get some professional pics taken as a couple. In one of the shots he randomly got down on one knee with THE ring. The photographer knew ahead of time so got all the action in photos. Awww....best part though they're going to plan a destination wedding in Cabo probably in late July. I best be starting to save my $$$ if I want to go.
My question for you: How did your significant other propose? If you're not married, how would you like the proposal to be or what's the best story you heard?
