Pound and Dollar stores are decieving! I've spent countless pounds in the 3 stores in Nottingham and 1 in Edinburgh. Yes, everything is £1 or 2 or 3 items but how come by the time you walk out of the door, £10 has disappeared?!
These stores became apart of my lastest binge routine, I find something I like to eat, something cheap and get stuck in going there almost everyday. But yesterday in Edinburgh, I walked around with an empty basket and left empty handed. This afternoon I had to go in to buy envelopes, I picked up 3 big bags of crisps and I put them back on the shelf. I left with envelopes, soup and crackers. It's refreshing, my lungs can expand.
The fight can't start until you consciously try; not giving in to that 'I give up' voice just once is a step forward.
