If you are a parent, sibling or therapist involved in the refeeding process, chances are there have been times when you have felt depleted, frustrated, and ready to wave your white flag. Remember to keep refilling your own cup as well as your loved one’s. An afternoon “off”—spent reading, getting a massage, chatting with friends, or doing whatever else nurtures your soul—can make a world of difference in helping you reground, reboot, and feel reinvigorated for the marathon journey you are on.
