Irregularity is usually associated with the lack of fiber in the diet.
What Makes It Different?
FiberWise drinks, bars, and cereals are made with psyllium husk fiber and other sources of fiber as well as a proprietary blend of herbs, vitamins, and antioxidants.
Why Is That Important?
Psyllium husk fiber has been shown to help reduce the risk of heart disease by helping to reduce both total cholesterol and LDL (or “bad”) cholesterol. It also helps promote regularity and it helps collect and sweep away toxins for a healthier digestive tract. Melaleuca is the only company that offers the proprietary blend of psyllium husk, herbs, vitamins, and antioxidants found in FiberWise. You can’t find it anywhere else!
It Works Because…
As the soluble fiber in psyllium husk absorbs liquid while moving through the digestive tract, it also absorbs cholesterol and bile acids, allowing them to pass out of the body instead of being absorbed by the intestines. The result is a natural lowering of blood cholesterol levels. †
In addition, FiberWise helps promote a healthy digestive tract with an exclusive blend of herbs, vitamins, and antioxidants:
*This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. † Diets low in saturated fat and cholesterol that include 7 grams of soluble fiber per day from psyllium husk may reduce the risk of heart disease. One serving of FiberWise drink provides 3.4 grams of this soluble fiber.

Hello... I haven't had any bowl movements or deficated for a week. This has been a recurring problem for the past few weeks now. I took 2 gelcaps of stool softners 2 days ago and have not produced a single bowl movement.
When this problem began I took maximum strength ex-lax and I think my body became immune to it after a week. The stool became extremely hard to pass, then I used stool softeners which worked the first time I used it, then the second time it didn't work. I've been eating regularly, including fruits and vegetables in my diet including prune juice. I've also been using Metamucil and nothing seem to be working to produce a bowl movement.
Is this a sign of a serious health problem? If there's anything I can do to correct this myself, please tell me.
