How fast has 2007 gone? I'm honestly amazed to be here, stronger, healthier, putting up my dad's xmas tree because him and brother knew I'd do it when I came home! The relief pricks tears in my eyes, this xmas has been so looked forward too and it is here and I'm happy.
This evening dad, Noreen and I went to a carol service in Peterborough Cathedral, it's been a long time since I was there as a Scout and never for something like this. (Forget that I am a terrible singer) Everyone sang out the carols along the pews (hard chairs!); the slavation army filled the place with brass notes that even when we didn't know the carol, we could follow along. They even had four teen girls for the Timber section with tinsel on the tamborines and dancing around in unison, who said the sally army couldn't be groovy?!!!
I want to go again. A couple of times recently I've begun thinking about going to church, just to see what it is like, I think in the new year I might just choose a church and go along.
This blog is taking a back seat to my writing at the moment; my novel needs careful attention as it is growing daily and I'm fitting a few articles in here and there as well. At this very moment it's the facebook/CIA conspiracy; intriguing.
