Is there a store that you frequently visit that has amazing customer service? Bare Escentuals is that store for me and I had to write to their company and founder today to show my appreciation. I wrote the following:
For my 26th birthday in April I received the Bare Escentuals Get Started Complexion and Eyes. I had always used Clinique and was hesitant to try a new product. I have to admit that I am extremely pleased with your products. It took some getting used to but now I feel more confident and comfortable using my make-up. I have received many compliments on how natural-looking and clear my face is since beginning using Bare Escentuals. I have continuously purchased and received consultations on new products (including your skin-care line) and have had my make-up done for special occasions from your store in Arlington, Texas at the Parks Mall. Each time I have visited, the sales consultants have been friendly, helpful, and patient with me. On a trip to the mall yesterday, I was reminded of what incredible service I always receive in your store. I wish I could remember every salesperson's name to personally commend them but please pass on my thanks. Thank you for such a wonderful line of products and I will continue to be a faithful customer.
I hope they like receiving a compliment! The reason I decided to write them was because not 2 minutes after my purchase at their store I went into another store looking for a facial mask. They did not have what I was looking for and the sales assistant said a very rude and snide remark as I was leaving. I was furious! I still get boiled thinking about it. Grrr...
Breakfast: Oats, coconut, chopped apple, sliced banana, 2 chopped dry figs, pecans, and The Greek Gods yogurt.
After a long morning walking through the flea market with my mom (I bought some great things that I can't wait to show off!) we had lunch at the Corner Bakery. I tried something new today: A roasted chicken sandwich on their harvest wheat toast with Dijon mustard and baby carrots on the side. Yum :) Totally hit the spot after our walking spree this morning.
Dinner started with some chopped sugar snap peas, figs, and coconut curry tempeh. Sauteed with some kale and blueberries and baked on Joseph's lavash bread spread with pumpkin.
One of the things I bought at the flea market was the How I Met Your Mother Season 3 DVD set for $10 (what a steal) so you know what I'm up to tonight! Say good-bye to the weekend guys :)
