is there a connection between bulimia and meth use

I don't know of any research that shows a particular relationship between Bulimia and methamphetamine use. But, having said that, chemical dependency/abuse and eating disorders often co-occur.

Also, some people use drugs (especially stimulants) as a way to suppress appetite so they can lose weight- in Bulimia specifically, someone might use meth as a way to restrict food intake so he/she can avoid having to purge. 

Both Bulimia and methamphetamine use/abuse (as well as other drugs) are potentially dangerous conditions, and when they occur together it complicates the picture even more. It's really important to get appropriate assessment and treatment.
