Inhaling Food

Is this week almost over? It's been so fast-paced I haven't had a chance to just sit down and reflect. I'm all about being busy so I won't feel bored and useless but not this busy! But at least there's a bright light at the end of the tunnel...Christmas vacation and my Las Vegas trip.

The wonderful people at Oikos sent me some coupons for free yogurt and who can so no to that? Enter their blueberry flavor for breakfast.


Oats, coconut, flax, walnuts, berries, and 1/2 a chopped red delicious apple.

Lunch: Spinach salad topped with chicken, sugar snap peas, baked sweet potato fries, and tomato sauce/BBQ sauce as a "dressing". One of the pitfalls of being a teacher is only having 25 minutes to scarf down your lunch before the kids are back. I don't get to savor my food and I'm a slow eater! I had to inhale this lunch and barely finished before it was time to teach again. No es bueno for my stomach. It was churning the rest of the day. Anybody else have this problem with short lunches?


Snackage: Cinnamon raisin toast with almond butter and pumpkin.


Dinner: Ezekiel tortilla baked with pumpkin/BBQ mix, chicken, and spinach with guacamole on the side. Try this, I love it!


In other news: I had a small epiphany the other night. As you're aware I'm having a bit of a hard time getting over a certain somebody who has been in and out of my life for a long time now. It's hard having someone who can hurt and love you at the same time. I'll have to go into more detail later about my little realizations later b/c I'm running to work.
Question: Do you remember your first love? How did things end or are you still together?
