Happy Monday everyone! Today I am feeling happy, rejuvenated, and just plain marvelous.
Today, linking up over at Katie’s site for Marvelous in my Monday.
Thursday was Josh’s birthday. Saturday, after our 12 mile rune, we celebrated at his parent’s house with steak, asparagus, twice baked potatoes, mushrooms, and swimming.
So why am I feeling rejuvenated? To tell you the truth this weekend I was pretty sad. Personal issues had my emotions all out of wack and I had a little bit of a break down. I like to stay real on this blog and not sugar coat things to make my life seem perfect and that I’m happy every minute of every day. The stress really got to me this weekend and I ended up having a nice long cry. After my cry and some positive words from Joel Osteen , I really felt better. His sermons always bring positivity into my life when I can’t see anything to be positive about.
Sometimes you just need a good cry and it makes you feel better. Today I feel like new and I feel better. I see the light at the end of the tunnel and I’m looking around on this rainy, blah day and finding everything I have to be thankful for and the things that make me happy.
Like fresh flowers on the dinging room table. My mom always had flowers on the table growing up. ALWAYS. She said they make you happy and really… they do.
Little things make me happy too, like a bowl of mixed cereal. Kashi Cinnamon Harvest and Cheerios with almond milk.
One of the most important things in my life is this smiling face.
There are so many little and big reasons to smile. After getting all the sadness out of me this weekend today I’m focusing on those.
So, Smile today. That’s what I’m going to be doing.
Last but not least: Don’t forget to sign up for the first Beauty Box Buddies in July!
Let today be a great start to a great week. Start fresh and new and happy.
