As a non-smoker, your chance of tonsil cancer is extremely low. The possibilities to explain your symptoms include bacterial or yeast infections, though cancer is always a possibility, even though its very unlikely. If the dark spots on the tonsil respond to antibiotic treatment then its virtually never a cancer.
